The trailer was purchased new and put on a double town lot in Patagonia in 1959. The restoration process began in 1999 when it was purchased from the estate of the original owner by two local conservationists. The property is now proudly owned and managed by a multi-generational family all of whom call Patagonia home.
Our version serves as a two-bedroom, one-bath vacation getaway that sleeps three. It has a living area plus a fully furnished kitchen and a dining area making it perfect for early morning coffee or a home-cooked meal. Retro accessories used throughout provide a flashback to life in mid-century America.
The rental features a private fenced yard, covered patio, a gas fire pit, off street parking and laundry facilities.
When you are ready to venture out of the ’50s, Dos Palmas is located within walking distance of retail shops and galleries, restaurants and markets.
This was a great find in quaint and beautiful Patagonia. The trailer was cute, cozy and clean. We were very comfortable and Samantha gave us some good info for close hikes and birding.
Super base camp for enjoying the village, the mountains, the history.
Clean, stylish and everything you need for a relaxing getaway.
This place is adorable! Clean, plenty of space (two of us). Samantha went out of her way to make our visit special. I would definitely book here again, if only even to enjoy the nostalgia of this property. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!
What a great place to get away from the grind! Amazing little touches added to the experience. We can’t wait to stay again!!!
Excellent location in town. Incredibly clean w/ personal home feel. Quality cookware, bedding, Wi-Fi, and the list goes on.
Hesitant to write a public review for fear of this being rented next time I want to stay there. Very clean, great location, perfect for us. Y
Thank you for such a great vacation spot!! We loved every part of this trailer. We will definitely be back.
